The first ripple of love must rise in your heart. When a stone is thrown in a lake it creates ripples around it, the ripples then spread beyond the stone and towards distant shores. Similarly the first ripples of love in your heart will spread into different spheres; you will love your body, your entire being, your totality of existence. Love is a natural emotion, it is the panacea to all ills but it seems to have become rarer in the world today. You need to nurture love in your life, love is beautiful because it beautifies you. The person who loves himself becomes graceful and elegant. The person who loves himself is bound to become more silent, more meditative......
True Relationship and its Meaning :A few relationships which we feel are genuine are cut short when death intervenes. These relationships are transitory. If a person dies we might remember him and cry for him only because we were dependent on that person in some way. So we miss him. But once we learn to live without that person, we might even 'forget' him. A permanent relationship can only be developed with oneself and that is possible with self-realisation. Upon self-realisation we would have true relationship with every living organism and inanimate object as we will be able to see divinity in all creation no matter what response we get from them, as there will be no expectations....
The Path Of Lovers The Lover's path is just as difficult as that of the Vedantin or raja yogin. No path is very easy. There is no royal road in spirituality. It is only to encourage the aspirant that seers say the path of devotion or love is the easiest. Every path or every yoga demands the entire annihilation of egoism. The karma yogi kills his egoism through selfless service. The bhakta kills his egoism through self-surrender or atma samarpana (sarana-gati). The Vedantin destroys his egoism through self-denial or self-abnegation.How difficult it is in this world to please another and obtain their love and affection!
Dont Turn Love Into Relationships Love comes like a strong breeze and carries away two lovers to unknown dimensions. Lovers go through an experience peak and then need to settle down. In the process, they start feeling bored, craving the same peak yet again and again. When they don't reach it, they feel frustrated and fall into the ditch of misery. Peaks in love are experienced when lovers open their wings to fly high into the sky together. There's a whole sky of freedom and togetherness that they feel in each other's company. But the moment they start clinging to each other and suppress freedom, love falls into an abysmal valley of misery. Then they wonder what happened to their love! The clinging starts clipping their wings, killing their love.....
