What Is Kundalini Shakti or Serpant Energy?
Kundalini ' literally means, 'coiled one'. The Oriental (Eastern) Spirituality defines 'Ananda' as Bliss; the letter 'A' symbolising Shakti . Kundalini is the primordial ' Shakti' or cosmic energy that lies coiled in the muladhara chakra (Base or Root Chakra) corresponding to the base of spine, in your body. According to the yogic tradition Kundalini is curled up in the back part of the root chakra in three and one-half turns around the sacrum. Yogic phenomenology states that kundalini awakening is associated with the appearance of bio-energetic phenomena that are said to be experienced somatically by the yogi. Yogic phenomenology states that kundalini awakening is associated with the appearance of bio-energetic phenomena that are said to be experienced somatically by the yogi. This appearance is also referred to as "pranic awakening". Prana is interpreted as the vital, life-sustaining force in the body. Uplifted, or intensified life-energy is called pranotthana and is supposed to originate from an apparent reservoir
Kundalini Yoga is that Yoga which treats of Kundalini Sakti, the six centres of spiritual energy (Shat Chakras), the arousing of the sleeping Kundalini Sakti and its union with Lord Siva in Sahasrara Chakra, at the crown of the head. This is an exact science. This is also known as Laya Yoga. The six centres are pierced (Chakra Bheda) by the passing of Kundalini Sakti to the top of the head. ‘Kundala’ means ‘coiled’. Her form is like a coiled serpent. Hence the name Kundalini.
PRANAYAMA FOR AWAKENING KUNDALINI
When you practise the following, concentrate on the Muladhara Chakra at the base of the spinal column, which is triangular in form and which is the seat of the Kundalini Shakti. Close the right nostril with your right thumb. Inhale through the left nostril till you count 3 Oms slowly. Imagine that you are drawing the Prana with the atmospheric air. Then close the left nostril with your little and ring fingers of the right hand. Then retain the breath for 12 Oms. Send the current down the spinal column straight into the triangular lotus, the Muladhara Chakra. Imagine that the nerve-current is striking against the lotus and awakening the Kundalini. Then slowly exhale through the right nostril counting 6 Oms. Repeat the process from the right nostril as stated above, using the same units, and having the same imagination and feeling. This Pranayama will awaken the Kundalini quickly. Do it 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening. Increase the number and time gradually and cautiously according to your strength and capacity. In this Pranayama, concentration on the Muladhara Chakra is the important thing. Kundalini will be awakened quickly if the degree of concentration is intense and if the Pranayama is practised regularly.
Pranotthana or Kundalini?Recently a large number of books and magazines have been published concerning investigations into the reality of kundalini. Unfortunately, much of what
has been written shows only a very preliminary and partial knowledge of the actual awakening process. In many texts, the pranotthana or release of pranic force within the body has been confused with the actual awakening of kundalini. Pranotthana is the first thing that happens as the individual evolves, and it is this release of energy which triggers off the actual awakening of kundalini. Without pranotthana the kundalini is not awakened....
Shaktipat The Spiritual Awakening When the guru and disciple are linked, then the gurus' power automatically flows to the disciple. This is shaktipat - the transmission of high frequency waves from guru to disciple. Shaktipat or Shaktinipata is a Sanskrit word in the Hindu spiritual tradition that refers to the act of a guru or spiritual teacher conferring a form of spiritual "power" or awakening on a disciple/student. "Shakti" translates as energy and "pat" as touch. Shaktipat can be carried out by the spiritually enlightened master either by transmission of sacred word or mantra, a look, a thought or by touch. The touch is usually given to the ajna chakra or third eye of the disciple. When the guru transmits a little of his own shakti to the disciple's mooladhara, kundalini feels a pull. But that pull is not an actual awakening. Kundalini gets a little scratch and it frowns. That frowning is the experience of shaktipat. The body trembles as sushumna.....
Kundalini Therapy Kundalini therapy is the healing technique of the near future which will result from the change in consciousness presently sweeping the world. It is the culmination of all healing methods, from Yoga to allopathy. The word kundalini is derived from two roots - kunda meaning 'pit' and kundali meaning 'coiled'. Kundalini is the coiled energy which resides at the base of the spine and in the depths of our consciousness. Therefore kundalini therapy helps to remove disease by utilising this energy....
Indian Ragas & Chakras (New)The seven basic swaras (musical notes) of the musical octave have a one-to-one correspondence with these chakras (nuclei of subtle energy). The lower most (in the kava equina region along the erect endocrine column), viz., the Muladhara Chakra is associated with the swara "sa"; that means, the practice of chanting this particular musical note will have impact on awakening or activation of this particular chakra....
Was Kundalini Yoga Was Practiced By Pharaohs The pharaohs were the rulers of Egypt, having colossal responsibilities taking care of Egypt. The Gods (Satan and his fellow Demons) trusted them to rule their earth. The pharaoh is the connection between the gods and humans. He was a demi-god and would receive his full god status once he reached Duat. He had divine blood through the bloodline of the gods. This bloodline of course died out during Egypt's final years as their consciousness fell with every succeeding Pharaoh. Satan(Cosmic Delusion) and his fellow demons had control over the Earth at this time; thus the popularity of the snake icon (one of Satan’s symbols represented by outgoing consciousness) in Egypt. The snake is seen on pharaohs’ headdresses, in temples, and even in a group called the brotherhood of the snake. The snake in Egyptian times also had relevance to the Kundalini Shakti or Dynamic Prana.....
Pravritti and Nivritti Marg In Tantra Scientifically, evolution is defined as the process where more refined life forms grow and develop out of the less refined, that is to say, more advanced life forms arise out of lower forms; the gross producing the subtle. This is the theory of scientific evolution as propounded by Darwin. However, Tantra has a completely different concept of evolution. Tantra regards the refinement of life forms as being merely the pattern of the manifested world. It is the blueprint or design, but not the source of life as we know it. The true meaning of evolution revealed to the sages thousands of years before Darwin, is the process of Shakti arising or evolving out of Shiva, of the material evolving from the immaterial.....
